When were PASGT helmets made?
The design was presented in 1975 and accepted in 1976. Production was initiated in 1978 by the company Gentex (which manufactured PASGT helmets with integrated camouflage), then delayed till 1980 but it wasn't until 1984 when the definitive model started being distributed.

What is the difference between mich and PASGT helmets?
Following PASGT Helmets, the Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) was designed to be lighter and more comfortable yet still just as protective. It was redesigned to be more compatible with accessories and uses an advanced type of Kevlar in its construction.
